MOHAMED BOUSSAID: International Expert in Industry, Trade, and Crafts
Former Tunisian Minister of Trade and Export Development (2020–2021), also Acting Minister of Industry, Energy, and Mines, MOHAMED BOUSSAID is a senior public official with over 35 years of experience in trade policy, foreign trade, trade facilitation, export promotion, and the development of crafts and national industries. He has held strategic positions within the Tunisian government, notably as Director General of Foreign Trade, Director General at the Ministry of Trade, Chief of Staff to the Minister, CEO of the National Handicrafts Office, and CEO of SNIPE La Presse. He has also led structural projects, including the creation of the Ben Guerdane Free Zone, and has served on several boards of directors of public companies and major economic institutions. He is recognized for his high-level expertise in the fields of international trade, economic governance, public procurement, industrial policy, and competitiveness.
